The recycling process begins exactly where you’d expect it too, on your own curb. First and foremost, everything able to be recycled is collected by the same people who collect your other, regular, non recyclable trash.

Once they have arrived at the recycling facility, different types of products are required to undergo different processes in order to be turned into a new product and so they are sorted into different categories. Now your metal, but you also have free will, where will you go?.

Paper and carboard are shredded down into fine small little pieces that will then be seperated, and thrown into this giant vat of boiling hot water, where they will be mixed until they turn into this thick sludge known as "pulp", after this they will later be poared out onto screens to be reforemd and cut into pieces.

Yikes, there go your bretheren, oh well, youve got millions of em all over the globe, still unsightly though. Metal is sorted by different types, and then melted down. once it is liquid it is molded into different objects, sometimes in house, sometimes by companies who have purchased it through out-sourcing.

Plastic is first sorted into different types, then it is grinded down to micrscopic form, where then after it will be burned and melted so that it can be formed into different objects later.

Finally fresh at last, but theres another choice that, had you not been alive, the proceessing plant wouldve made for you. What purpose will you be of use too, will you hold food that people will eat with there mouths, or hold non edible products?

Now all of the materials have been processed down into finer, simpiler elements so they will once again go there seperate ways so that they will be able to processed into new products, but first, your dirty, cant be going anywhere with all of that bacteria.
